2005 - To Ireland and France

Another chance to explore France, this time from the southwest coast and up to Normandy before
another stay in Paris.


Our itinerary - fly into Dublin and explore Ireland for three days, fly to Carcassonne, Collioure, the Pyrenees, Nimes, the Dordogne, the Loire, Mont St. Michel, Normandy, Giverny, Paris.

Summary - 28 days, three flights, two rental cars.

Ages - 7, 4 and three months.

Highlights - lush green Ireland with 50/50 rainy/sunny days, the medieval town of Carcassonne, the gorgeous beach town of Collioure, hiking mountain castles in the Pyrenees, the Pont du Gard, prehistoric cave paintings in the Dordogne, the chateaux of the Loire, incredible Mont St. Michel and the kids' favourite hotel room, June Beach, Monet's garden, ah Paris.
