2007 - To Italy

Three weeks in Italy - ah, bella!



Our itinerary - fly to London and spend 12 hours with my relatives before hopping a late flight to Venice; Venice, Cinque Terre, Lucca and Pisa, Florence, Tuscany, the Amalfi coast, Pompei, Rome.

Summary - 21 days, three flights, a rental car, becoming a short-term local in Tuscany.

Ages - almost 9, turned 6 in Rome, just under 2.

Highlights - exploring Venice, hiking the five towns of Cinque Terre, biking in Lucca, the galleries of Florence, a week at our rented villa in Tuscany, exploring wine towns and tower towns, the gorgeous Amalfi coast, awe-inspiring Pompei, our Art Deco flat in Rome for four days.
